We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Critiques
That said, this piece really shines. The pose, classic Reno in and of itself, not only captures the character, but is technically done very well. Like, the arms for instance: the sizing to indicate perspective is really good!
But, for me, the real brilliance is in the coloring. The shading of the dress shirt, for one, is great. It's subtle, but believable and perfect for the folding and wrinkles. His hair is great! It all seems to be the same red, but there's depth to it. The pants are really well done, too, once again particularly at the folds. And, this may seem random, but I think the best little part of it all is the belt buckle: a small little detail, but very well done, and when little details like that are given care and attention, the whole piece benefits.
This is definitely one of your more polished pieces. Good work!
